Merman Branded has added Alicia Farren as Head of Production.

Farren, who has worked in TV commercial production spanning a period of over 20 years, will be working alongside EPs Siobhan Murphy and Spencer Dodd across all aspects of film production deliverables from TV to branded entertainment, socials, stills and promos.

Farren previously held the role of Head of Production at Moxie Pictures.  She has overseen campaigns for clients including Virgin Media, McCains, Aldi, Expedia and Nike. She has also produced on a freelance basis for the likes of Somesuch, Caviar, OB, Pulse and Stink amongst others. Over the years, she has “formed strong working relationships with agencies and directors alike, establishing trust and collaborating creatively on each and every brief along the way.”

Her previous experience saw her produce with the likes of Psyop, Emil Nava, Henry Schofield, and Big Red Button as well as  Merman’s Guy Manwaring, MJ Delaney, director duo BARBARA and Vaughan Arnell.

Alicia Farren says; “The Head of Production at Merman is a dream role. Having worked with the company over the years as a freelance producer, I’ve always admired the creativity and dynamism that define Merman. The opportunity to step into a leadership role here, collaborating with the talented roster of directors that Merman has nurtured, is incredibly exciting. There’s an infectious energy in the office that makes it such a unique and inspiring place to work, and I’m thrilled to have been given the opportunity to contribute to its continued success.”

Siobhan Murphy says: “We are seriously over the moon Alicia has joined us at Merman. Having known her in the industry for an ‘unmentionable’ number of years we highly appreciate her wealth of experience, diligent producing, calm demeanour and natural people skills. She knows our directors well, having produced for a number of them already, so it feels like the perfect fit for 2025 and thereafter. She is the cherry on top of the icing on the cake for Merman Branded.”
