Ad Hoc Films has completed a second series of Mission to Burnley for Sky.
Following Burnley FC’s triumphant return to the Premier League last season, the series will give sports fans insight and a behind-the-scenes look at the action, as Burnley battles to remain in the most prestigious league in the world, with a tumultuous end to the season under manager Vincent Kompany.
It’s the 2023-2024 season. After getting back into the Premier League, Burnley FC battle to try to survive in the top division playing the biggest clubs in the world. Pressure mounts on manager Vincent Kompany and American owner Alan Pace, with the boardroom expecting results. Growing criticism from fans and pundits intensifies as Burnley strive to dig deep to stave off the threat of relegation.
Mission to Burnley Series 2 is produced by Ad Hoc Films, makers of the genre defining documentary The Four Year Plan, for Sky Documentaries. The series was commissioned by, Jamie Morris, Director of Programmes and Jack Oliver, Head of Co-productions at Sky.
Daniel Glynn and Jamie Munro return as Executive Producers on the series, as do Showrunner Mat Hodgson, and series director Tom Magnus. The series is produced by Patrick Nathanson and Victoria Hepburn.

All four episodes will be available exclusively on SkySports+* weekly from 9th August, before launching on Sky Documentaries and streaming service NOW on 1st September.
