Absolute’s animation sister studio, Blind Pig, has hired Josephine Gallagher as Executive Producer.
Gallagher joins following a four-year stint at Nexus, with previous roles at Agile Films, Blink Ink and Fat Lemon.
She has led animation projects in collaboration with agencies such as Mother, adam&eveDDB and BBH for clients including Guinness and John Lewis Christmas and produced lockdown film, Drawn Closer, directed by Disney/Pixar alum Patrick Osborne that went on to win several awards, including a gold Cannes Lion.
Gallagher said: “I have had the pleasure of working with Absolute on multiple occasions and always admired their work and team spirit. I truly believe that animators are the nicest and most patient people you’ll ever meet, so it’s a real privilege to work alongside the passionate team at Blind Pig. The work is already strong – so my aim is to provide industry insight and relationships to help grow the brand.”
