Absolute have promoted Ollie Ireland into the role of Colour Producer.

Following three years producing edit, colour and visual effects for the studio, Ollie’s new sole focus will be firmly on all things Absolute Colour. Her new role will comprise nurturing client relationships, managing new business and overseeing technical and practical workflows.

The department is headed up by Matt Turner, who has over 25 years’ experience working with directors such as Daniel Kleinman, Baz Luhrmann and Mike Newell, as well as a number of award nominations under his belt. Absolute’s grading suites are also home to Juliette Wileman who has worked with clients including Boots, Nike, Channel 4 and Women’s Aid – the latter of which she was shortlisted for a Young Arrow award in 2022.

Ollie Ireland comments: “I’ve always loved the variety of work we see in the suites when producing colour. Matt’s portfolio speaks for itself, and Jules’ talent is so inspiring. Her body of work is growing so rapidly – I’ve always been her biggest cheerleader! I’m excited to promote them both to our existing and prospective client base and look forward to forging new connections along the way.”

Matt Turner adds: “We’ve been realising the value in having a colour-dedicated Producer for some time and I can’t think of anyone better to fit the bill. Not only do I know Ollie will champion the department, but she’s also creatively driven. And more than that – she’s so much fun to be around!”
