Disney+ has released the official trailer and key art for “wrong-com”, Alice and Steve.

The six-part Hulu Original series stars Nicola Walker (“The Split”), Jemaine Clement (“What We Do in the Shadows”), Joel Fry (“Cruella”), and Yali Topol Margalith (“The Tattooist of Auschwitz”). All six episodes of “Alice and Steve” will be available to stream on Monday 8 June exclusively on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland and Hulu in the US on 8 June.

Alice is devastated when her best friend Steve starts dating her 26-year-old daughter Izzy. She’s going to lose her best friend and her daughter in one fell swoop. Alice tries everything she can to end the relationship. Unfortunately for her, Steve’s more than ready for the attack, and what begins as a perfect friendship, devolves into an all-out feud.

A hilarious, messy, and complicated exploration of friendship, family, and love, “Alice and Steve” is an anti-romantic comedy that asks the question, how far would you go for love – or revenge? Will Alice forgive Steve? Will Steve and Izzy make a relationship work? Amongst all the questions hanging in the balance, one thing is certain; their lives will never be the same again.

“Alice and Steve” (6×30’) is created and written by Sophie Goodhart (“Sex Education”), Clerkenwell Films (“Baby Reindeer”), and Director Tom Kingsley (“Stath Lets Flats”) and premieres on June 8th with all six episodes available on Disney+.The Hulu Original series (6×30’) was commissioned from the UK by Lee Mason, Vice President, Scripted, Disney+ EMEA.
