Creative studio Chrome Productions has announced that Emma Astaire has been appointed as Managing Director.
Joel Mishcon, Chrome Founder & CEO, said: “Emma has been by my side for the past six years. In that time, we’ve experienced rapid growth, expanded to the US, and survived a small thing called a pandemic. Emma has helped Chrome evolve from a founder-led business into a company with an exceptional leadership team and a portfolio of award-winning, groundbreaking work. I’m excited to embark on this next phase of Chrome’s journey with Emma in her new role, as we continue to push boundaries and grow a world-class global Creative Studio.”
Astaire began her career at the BBC and spent more than 15 years in television production before joining Chrome in 2019 as Head of Operations. She became Chief Operating Officer in 2023. Before Chrome, she produced programmes for almost every major UK network, including the multi-award-winning Great British Bake Off, The Weakest Link, Holby City, Total Wipeout, and The Only Way Is Essex. She later held a senior management role at ITV before joining Chrome.
Emma Astaire added: “I feel incredibly proud to take on the role of Managing Director at such an exciting time for Chrome. Over the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside an exceptional team, and together we’ve built something truly special. As we look to the future, I’m excited to continue driving our vision forward, exploring new creative frontiers, and delivering world-class work for our clients around the globe.”
As MD, Emma will continue to oversee global operations and lead the delivery of Chrome’s company-wide strategic vision.
