Zinc Media’s brand and corporate production company, The Edge, has promoted Norma Gaunt to MD and is refreshing its strategy and brand.

Gaunt has been with The Edge since 2000 and, as Managing Director, she will guide the strategic direction of The Edge, “further strengthening its position as a leader in corporate and brand storytelling.”

The refreshed strategy will see The Edge focus on three key areas of growth – Film, Learning, and Immersive – as part of a broader strategy to expand its global influence. Supported by Zinc Media Group’s platform, which includes marketing, publicity, post-production, HR, and technology, The Edge “is set to scale its operations while accelerating its creative edge.”

The company’s international strategy includes further investment in the Middle East. With a longstanding presence in Doha for over 15 years, where it has operated under The Edge brand, Zinc Media Group will further expand its footprint by opening a second office in Media City, Doha. Additionally, The Edge will enhance its regional presence by officially opening an office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in September. The strategic moves aim to “strengthen operational capabilities and support continued growth across the Middle East.”

“We’re entering an exciting phase, and I’m thrilled to be leading The Edge forward,” said Norma Gaunt. “With the backing of Zinc Media Group and our talented team, we are perfectly positioned to push the boundaries of corporate and brand film production, learning, and immersive experiences. Our integrated approach will allow us to deliver even more creative, immersive, and impactful content to our clients worldwide.”

The Edge is also unveiling a new brand identity and website, as it drops ‘picture company’ from its name and logo.
