Manchester-based Space Studios has confirmed that Cheryl Hughes will take up the role of Brand and Marketing Manager with immediate effect.

Hughes joins Space from The Pinewood Group where she was Senior Brand and Content Marketing Manager, working across its

Pinewood, Shepperton and Toronto studios.

Commenting on Hughes arrival, Rob Page, MD Space Studios said: “Welcoming Cheryl into the role of Brand & Marketing Manager marks an important step in Space Studios’s evolution.  Her expertise will help shape Space for the future and really put us on the map as the go-to destination for filming in the north-west of England.”

Recent high-profiles projects Space has hosted include “House of Guinness” for Netflix and “The Talamasca” for AMC.   Other

notable productions have included “Peaky Blinders”, “Boiling Point”, “Brassic” and “Daddy Issues”.

Hughes’ brand and marketing experience, in both the media and charity sector, includes stints at Global Media Entertainment, AO.com and the RNID.

Space Studios Manchester offers 6 acoustically treated stages across a 17 acre site offering 85,000 sq.ft. of stage space. Centrally located in the city, the site includes prop storage, workshops and production offices, dressing rooms, hair & make-up facilities, laundry, on-site catering and extensive secure parking.  Space Studios Manchester first opened in 2014.
