Stormzy launches Merky Films with debut short

Stormzy is launching film production company Merky Films with a debut short, Big Man.

The British rapper stars in the short which is created in collaboration with Apple and shot entirely on the iPhone 16 Pro.

Directed by Academy Award winner Aneil Karia, Stormzy stars as Tenzman, a former rapper who meets with two young boys.

Merky Films is also developing a drama series and seminal biopic, alongside documentaries, an animation project and a new-age mockumentary.
