Pact and Creative Wales have announced eleven Welsh independent production companies who will benefit from the supercharged development programme, Future Wales.

This follows an in-depth selection process by a panel of leading Welsh TV and film industry experts.

Future Wales is based on Pact’s successful Future30 scheme – which launched in 2021 as part of its 30th anniversary celebrations – and is designed to identify promising indies in Wales and unlock their potential to grow as global businesses.

The eleven successful indies are: Awkward Studios; Bright Branch Media; Captain Jac; Crash Productions; Deep Fusion Films; Jet TV; Little Bird Films; On Par Productions; Osprey Television; Pixie Creative Limited and Slam Media

The two-year scheme gives each indie a tailored leadership and development programme with access to leading industry experts and two year’s free Pact membership.

Commenting on the successful companies, Pact’s Director of Nations and Regions, Chris Curley, said: “It was a highly competitive process, and we are excited to start work with the new Future Wales cohort.
