South African animation studio Triggerfish has appointed Natalie Adams as Senior Vice President, Business Development.
Former Tiger Aspect and Jellyfish Pictures exec, Adams, joins Triggerfish as a consultant following the recent launch of the company’s new UK studio, for her “vast expertise in business development set to help Triggerfish expand its foothold in the UK and across Europe.”
Natalie Adams has over 25 years’ senior management level experience in IP development, TV production, international distribution, financing and new business development in Kids & Family animation. Most recently, as Executive Producer for Tiger Aspect Kids & Family, she oversees the original series Stan & Gran for Milkshake! and Nickelodeon UK. Adams spent over seven years at Jellyfish Pictures (2018-2025), initially to oversee its newly established Original Kids’ Content Division before becoming Managing Director – Animation & Originals, and latterly as Managing Director of Originals. Prior to that she spent almost six years at Platinum Films as Head of Global Strategy. Her credits include DogMan (DreamWorks), Wolf King(Netflix Series), The Twits (Netflix Features), Matt Hatter Chronicles (ITV) and Everything’s Rosie (CBeebies).

Its new UK studio, building on its established hubs in South Africa and Ireland, is designed to “power global growth in feature films, TV series, and specials.”
