Platform Media has appointed Rhyanna Coleman to the newly created Director of Strategy role.

Having previously collaborated on Platform’s high-profile launches, including the podcast debuts of Graham Norton and Ant & Dec, Coleman, formerly of YMU and Spotify, will now develop strategy across Platform’s growing original IP slate.

Platform Media has recent launches including Olivia’s House with Olivia Attwood, Joe Marler Will See You Now, and Bottom’s Up! with Alan Carr and Lee Peart.

In her new role, Coleman will refine formats for video-first, platform-agnostic consumption, unlock new revenue streams, and build long-standing community hubs around talent-led content, including subscriptions, live events, and merchandise.

“I’m looking forward to getting under the hood of Platform’s original IP, working closely with their incredible creative and commercial teams.” Said Coleman, “As the slate expands, my goal is to ensure we’re not just reaching audiences, but building high-value brands that benefit talent and partners alike.”

Platform Media CEO, Josh Adley said: I’ve partnered with Rhyanna on various shows over the years and every time I came away wishing she was part of our team. She shares our vision and ambition in a way that is hard to find. I can’t wait for her to grow and optimise our slate in a big way.

Coleman joins Platform Media following her tenure at YMU as Head of Podcasts, where she steered the talent management agency’s podcast strategy with a focus on scaling established shows, diversifying revenue streams and developing new and owned IP for clients stepping into the medium.

Prior to YMU, Coleman spent three years as an Executive Producer at Spotify, steering the UK Originals slate.
