The nominations for the 2025 International Emmy Awards have been announced with two nominations for Ludwig along with nods for UK shows Until I kill You, Lost Boys and Fairies and Rivals.
In Arts Programming, Oxford Films and Sky Arts’ Art Matters with Melvyn Bragg was nominated. In the best actor and actress categories, David Mitchell in Big Talk Studios and That Mitchell & Webb Company’s Ludwig and Anna Maxwell Martin in Until I Kill You produced by World Productions were nominated. Ludwig also gets a nod in the best comedy category.
Basement Films’ Kill Zone: Inside Gaza, Expectation’s Hell Jumper, Sky News The Gangs of Haiti and Whisper and Up & Away Film Entertainment’s Sven all received nominations in the factual categories.
Happy Prince’s Disney+ show Rivals is nominated in Best Drama Series category and Duck Soup’s Lost Boys & Fairies gets a nod in the TV Movie/Mini-Series category.
Echo Velvet’s Kids Like Us and Globoplay / Night Train Media / Silver Reel / Hero Squared / Umedia’s Fallen are nominated in the kids categories.
“As the International Emmys continue to recognise the very best in television, the creativity and caliber of this year’s Nominees, from a record 26 countries, reflect the global strength of our industry,” said International Academy President & CEO Bruce L. Paisner. “New York City will once again serve as the global stage this November, where we will honour their remarkable achievements.”
All Nominees will convene in New York at the International Emmy World Television Festival for Nominee Panels, Presentations and Partner events, from November 21-23.
Winners will be announced at the 53rd International Emmy Awards Gala in New York City, on Monday, November 24, 2025.
