After 34 years at Ridley Scott Associates, including 22 years as managing director, Kai Hsiung (pictured) has announced her retirement from RSA Films.

Josie Juneau will assume the role of Managing Director of RSA UK when Hsiung departs in spring 2026, following a two-year tenure as RSA’s Head of Advertising. Before joining RSA, Josie spent eight years as a Partner at Rattling Stick. Her career spans agency and production roles at Lowe, Ogilvy, AMV BBDO, and 180 Amsterdam

Juneau will lead alongside her US counterpart Luke Ricci, under the global leadership of CEO Luke Scott. Luke Ricci, has served as President of the US arm since 2021.

Over her 22 years as MD, Kai has overseen thousands of productions, leaving behind a legacy of boundary-pushing, genre-defining work. In 2025, she was honoured with the British Arrows Fellowship, recognising a career dedicated to nurturing excellence in production.

Hsiung rose through the ranks, from receptionist to Production Assistant, Producer, Executive Producer, and ultimately Managing Director.

Luke Scott, CEO, Ridley Scott Creative Group said: “Kai has been an exemplary ambassador to the RSA brand and has overseen continued success from the early 2000s to today. It has been difficult for the Scott family to accept the end of her brilliant tenure, but Kai has done so with her characteristic reassurance and elegance and has found a worthy and natural successor in Josie Juneau.

In the meantime, I look forward to working with Josie in the coming months as we chart the future. We all wish Kai the very best and much love for her future, and the absolute appreciation for what she has imprinted on RSA and of course her massive contribution to the industry.”
