ITV’s Director Entertainment, Reality and Daytime, Katie Rawcliffe, has confirmed two new appointments to her expanded team.
Executive Producer Iona Mackenzie will join the team later this year from Lifted Entertainment, as Commissioning Editor, Entertainment and Reality.
Mackenzie’s experience covers both big entertainment formats from The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent and Dancing on Ice, and Reality formats like I’m Celebrity, Love Island and Cheat: Unfinished Business for Netflix. Most recently, she has been an executive producer on Love Island series 12, and I’m A Celebrity South Africa, for ITV.
Mackenzie replaces Lily Wilson, who is leaving the commissioning team to head up a new ITV Studios Unscripted label in 2026.
Rawcliffe has also announced that Paula Thomas, who joined the team as Commissioning Editor for Daytime in December 2024, will have an expanded remit to oversee ITV’s daytime slate from 6am to 6pm, as well as the Advertiser Funded programming across the slate, becoming Commissioning Editor, Daytime and Advertiser Funded Entertainment. Thomas will work closely with ITVs Be Studio helping brands to build connections with ITVs audience through the creation of new formats. Supporting her is Leanne Clarke who will report into her as Assistant Commissioner, Entertainment and Daytime.
Iona Mackenzie and Paula Thomas’ role complete Rawcliffe’s expanded Entertainment, Reality and Daytime team which includes experienced Commissioning Editors Joe Mace, Kevin O Brien, Louise Major and Amanda Stavri, and Commissioners, Entertainment and Reality David Smyth and Gemma John Lewis.

New entertainment and reality formats joining the slate in 2026 include The Neighbourhood, The Summit, The Box, The Floor, The Heat and Celebrity Sabotage.
