Black Mirror creators Charlie Brooker and his producing partner Annabel Jones have both resigned as directors from their Netflix-owned production company, Broke and Bones.
According to Companies House records, the pair resigned as directors of Broke and Bones on July 3rd.
Brooker and Jones set up Broke and Bones in 2020 after leaving their previous indie, the Endemol Shine-backed House of Tomorrow.
Netflix initially made a smaller investment in the company before then exercising the option to take full control of the company. The deal gave Netflix exclusivity over Broke and Bones projects.
Despite the pair resigning as directors of the Black Mirror indie, both Netflix, and Brooker and Jones, have signalled over recent months their desire to make future seasons of the hit show.
Alongside Black Mirror, Broke and Bones has produced programmes including Jack Thorne drama, Toxic Town and Diane Morgan’s Philomena Cunk series.
