The BBC has booked Ronan Keating to front a “night of music and celebration” for New Year’s Eve in Ronan & Friends: A New Year’s Eve Party, airing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Across the evening, Ronan Keating will be joined on stage by two of his former Boyzone bandmates, Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch along with Louise, Shona and Calum Scott for one-off performances, “celebrating some of the biggest and best-loved songs of the last three decades.”

Also joining Ronan on stage is former Eternal singer Louise and I’m a Celebrity, EastEnders, and musical theatre performer Shona. Completing the line-up is multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Calum Scott.

As the clocks countdown to midnight, the programme cuts to London’s world-famous fireworks display. After midnight, “the party continues on BBC One as Ronan returns to keep the celebrations going into 2026.”

Ronan & Friends: A New Year’s Eve Party is a BBC Studios Music Production (2 x 30 minutes) for BBC One and BBC iPlayer. It was commissioned by Jonathan Rothery, Head of Popular Music TV. The BBC Commissioning Editor is Rachel Davies, and the Executive Producer for BBC Studios is Alison Howe.
