5’s pre-school strand, Milkshake!, has commissioned new series Move It, Milkshakers! from Doc Hearts, alongside two additional seasons of factual entertainment format, Animal Care Club from Daisybeck Studios.
Both titles are slated to premiere in 2026.
Move It, Milkshakers! (26 x 10’) is a vibrant and interactive preschool series that aims to get 3–5-year-olds moving, learning, and having fun. Each 10-minute episode focuses on a letter of the alphabet and introduces a themed “Signature Move” through original songs, energetic physical activity, and playful storytelling. Presented by Kemi Majeks and Derek Moran, the show follows a team of enthusiastic preschoolers as they take on imaginative, movement-based missions, like collecting jungle vines for the letter “J” or spotting hidden “B” badges on the beach. Each adventure helps children learn the featured letter through expressive movement, building confidence and early literacy skills along the way. It is produced by Doc Hearts (Reu & Harper’s Wonder World, White Nanny, Black Child).
Animal Care Club (40 x 11’) is a factual entertainment series where animal-loving kids roll up their sleeves to help animals in need across the UK. In each episode, two pairs of young carers team up with animal experts – vets, zookeepers, sanctuary staff, and farmers – to gain hands-on experience caring for pets, farm animals, wildlife, and exotic species. Presented by Kiera-Nicole Brennan, each episode explores a different setting, whether it’s a vet’s practice, a working farm, a wildlife sanctuary, or a zoo, and is packed with facts and practical tips on how to make animals’ lives better. Animal Care Club is produced by Daisybeck Studios (Springtime on the Farm, Our Great Yorkshire Life).
Louise Bucknole, SVP Kids & Family, Paramount UK & Ireland said: “We’re excited to add Move It, Milkshakers! and two more seasons of Animal Care Club to Milkshake’s 2026 line-up. Move It, Milkshakers! is a brilliant blend of movement, music and literacy supporting early years foundation stage milestones and providing preschoolers with fun and interactive ways to learn. Meanwhile, Animal Care Club is a show rooted in empathy, teamwork and children’s love of animals. We’re proud to expand this format, giving preschoolers and their families even more inspiring stories of care and connection.”
