Channel 4 has confirmed a second series of 72 Films’ format, Handcuffed: Last Pair Standing.
Jonathan Ross will return to host the show.
Commissioned from Channel 4’s Documentaries and Factual Entertainment Department, the show sees pairs of strangers with completely opposed opinions, beliefs, lifestyles, and bad habits, handcuffed together 24/7 “in the ultimate test of survival.”
Series one saw Rob, an adult content creator, and Charlie, a practical homemaker, win the experiment and take home a collective £100,000.
Channel 4 Commissioning Editor Tim Hancock said: “Part of Channel 4’s job is to reflect every corner of Britain, and not just the loudest or most comfortable parts. Handcuffed does that better than almost anything else on our slate, and its return is a vote of confidence in formats built on genuine difference.”
