Digital Advertising: televisual.com and Daily Newsletters

televisual.com is an open access, industry news and features website for the UK television, film and commercials production community with annual page views of 1.99million in the past year (August 1st 2025 – July 31st 2026).

Every weekday, the Televisual editorial team posts up to ten stories which are then curated within a daily newsletter sent to our fully GDPR compliant database of industry professionals (just over 8,750 as of August 10th 2026).

televisual.com supplements the news coverage with exclusive Features including video content you will only find on this website.

Advertising is sold in fixed monthly positions, with your MPU or banner running site-wide across televisual.com.

Statistics? We believe digital audience claims should be transparent. The figures below relate exclusively to televisual.com and are taken directly from Google Analytics, with the reporting period and methodology clearly stated.

TELEVISUAL.COM ENGAGEMENT

Televisual is a firmly established, well-respected and much-loved brand that has become synonymous with the UK production community.

Televisual magazine and televisual.com share a similar loyal and engaged audience from broadcaster and studio through production company and facility and all those with leading roles who work professionally in moving image content creation for television, film and commercials.

Where Televisual magazine plays to the strength of a Quarterly magazine, led by long-form benchmark reports and surveys, televisual.com leads with daily news from across the UK production sector with the addition of unique features and exclusive video content.

TELEVISUAL.COM PAGE IMPRESSIONS

The page impression volumes quoted below are for televisual.com only and do not include televisual.plus or televisual-bulldogs.com which combined would add over 80,000-page impressions. Some other sites include all their traffic verticals within the one site.

  • Total Page Impressions last 12 months – 1,992,059

The last three months increase in page impressions is exceptionally high and the site is on course to have well over over 2million page impressions by the date of next reporting.

Google Analytics directly identifies a substantial proportion of televisual.com traffic as organic search, social and referral. A further significant proportion is recorded as direct traffic, which includes visitors arriving directly at televisual.com as well as traffic from sources where referral information is not passed to Google Analytics.

Based on Google Analytics data together with daily Constant Contact click-through data, we estimate the current traffic mix as:

Daily Newsletter – 44%
Organic Search – 39%
Direct televisual.com / Home & News – 11%
Organic Social & Referral – 6%

The Televisual Daily Newsletter typically generates 600–1,000 click-throughs each weekday from a database of more than 8,750 registered industry professionals.

As an open-access website with strong organic search visibility, televisual.com inevitably attracts some non-industry visitors searching for programmes, personalities and broader media news. However, the site’s traffic patterns demonstrate substantial professional industry usage, including consistently strong audiences for production-company rankings, company news, post and VFX, facilities, commissioning and other specialist industry stories. This is reinforced by the exceptionally high engagement of Televisual’s daily industry newsletter audience.

However, the profile of our Daily Newsletter sign-ups is directly in line with Televisual magazine’s circulation demographic.

TELEVISUAL.COM WEBSITE ENGAGEMENT

Google Analytics does allow us to identify visitor habits and reach some conclusions about the site’s use.

The site generates more than 1.1 million visits annually, with an average of 1.8 page views per visit. The average page views per visit rises sharply for those coming in on either the home page at 3.7 pages per visit or on the news/category/tv-and-film page at 3.6 pages per visit.

Following is a selection of some of the most viewed news stories from 2025 and early 2026 with the important caveat that the story headlines do not include tv show or film titles or celebrities and are consequently industry news stories:

  • news/the-uk-s-top-100-tv-production-companies – 7,806
  • news/evolutions-and-halo-post-go-into-administration – 5,641
  • news/stuart-prebble-former-tv-producer-itv-chief-exec-dies-aged-74 – 4,570
  • news/storied-vfx-house-glassworks-closes-after-30-years – 3,953
  • news/jellyfish-pictures-suspends-operations – 3,886
  • news/envy-buys-halo-group-making-biggest-uk-indie-post-group – 3,497
  • news/voting-opens-for-2025-televisual-bulldog-awards – 2,897
  • news/view-from-the-rts-cambridge-convention-day-1 – 2,676
  • news/duck-soup-decides-to-close-its-doors – 2,577

There is no doubt that as an open access website that performs exceptionally well for SEO (without paying for it) and with a strong domain status, that televisual.com does attract non-industry visitors looking for celebrity and media news. It is also clear from the selection of page view examples and when looking at traffic sources (above) that televisual.com’s visitors primarily come from within the industry. A further demonstration of an engaged industry audience is through our daily newsletter (see below).

  • Leaderboard Top and Bottom – the most prominent banner placement across the site.
  • Leaderboard Middle – positioned further down the page and consequently offered at a significantly lower rate.

WEBSITE MPUS

SIZE – 300(W) x 169(H) pixels

The right-hand column is a consistent part of the televisual.com desktop layout across Home, News, Features and other content pages.

MPU rates are determined by position, size and duration, with the highest positions commanding the greatest visibility.

Our standard MPU size is 300(W) x 169(H) pixels, although alternative depths are available on request.

Click-through performance falls as positions move further down the page, and our pricing reflects this.

SPONSORED FEATURES (CONTENT MARKETING)

televisual.com offers Sponsored Features that sit alongside Televisual’s own editorial Features and provide advertisers with a more detailed content-marketing opportunity.

Sponsored Features can incorporate text, photography, graphics and embedded video, allowing considerably deeper engagement than a conventional display advertisement.

Each Feature is clearly identified as sponsored content but otherwise uses the same high-quality presentation and distribution mechanisms as other Features on televisual.com.

You can see a wide selection of sponsored Features HERE.

The post is treated as if one of our own Features including being prominently included within our Newsletters. They have become increasingly popular over the past few years as, unlike Banners and MPUs, they offer deeper engagement.

televisual.com Feature works as follows:

  • It is posted as a news story on day one and then runs within the ‘Features’ section on the Home Page for at least a week.
  • It is included in our Daily Newsletter within the top four stories on Day 1 and then further down the newsletter on Days 2 and 3. (The Daily Newsletter is sent to over 8,750 GDPR compliant industry executives.)

To run a televisual.com Feature we require:

  • Body text (A maximum 500 words is recommended. Televisual can advise and help with copy.)
  • A strong clear headline to length (see online examples)
  • A strong main image that ‘talks’ to the subject and ideally subsidiary images to run within the Feature.
  • And you have the option to run embedded video content if you send us a Vimeo or YouTube link with a thumbnail
  • A clear call to action and contact details

£650 (plus VAT) for a single Sponsored Feature

Two or more: £550 (plus VAT) each

We can offer content creation on request as an additional cost.

EDITORIAL FILM SPONSORSHIP OR MARKETING FILM CREATION

Televisual has been producing both editorial and marketing films for almost two decades.

Our editorial films range from interviews with leading production companies and commissioners to behind-the-scenes films, industry discussions and specialist production features.

Recent examples can be viewed in the WATCH section HERE.

We offer two complementary opportunities:

Sponsored Editorial Films – professionally produced Televisual content built around a subject with editorial relevance and supported by a commercial partner.

Marketing Films – bespoke films created for customers to communicate their own company, people, technology, facilities or services.
