In a reaction to market rumours, Banijay Group has released a statement confirming that discussions are ongoing on a potential combination with fellow super indie, All3Media.

Rumours of the mega merger were first reported by Reuters.

In the statement, Banijay Group said: “The Company confirms that it has entered into discussions with the All3Media owner regarding a potential combination between Banijay and All3Media. At this stage, the Company wishes to emphasize that no decision has been taken and that there can be no assurance that a transaction will be concluded. Further announcements will be made if and when appropriate.”

All3Media’ s UK production labels include Studio Lambert, Company Pictures, Objective Media Group, RAW and Silverback and Banijay’s include Kudos, Dragonfly, Shine TV, The Forge and Workerbee.
