5 has ordered a new travel special from JetSetTV, Jane McDonald’s Nashville (2×60’).
The two-part series will follow McDonald as she embarks on a dream trip to the Country Music capital of the world.
Along the way she will visit the famous Jack Daniel’s Distillery Tour; a visit to the ‘Athens of the South’ – the Parthenon replica and museum; and a whistlestop tour through the historic houses and homes around the City. The tour also takes in the Bluebird Café and the Grand Ole Opry via one of the City’s famous Pedal Tavern Tours “and a plate of Meat and Three.”

With her trademark warmth, humour and love of music, she’s the perfect guide to explore the sights, sounds and stories behind the home of Country. Her adventures promise to be full of joy, discovery and plenty of singalong moments.”

The series will be Exec Produced by Mark Powell and Kieron Collins for JetSetTV. Jenny MacLeod is the Series Producer and Director. The series was ordered by Greg Barnett, Commissioning Editor, 5.
The series is currently in production and will air on 5 next year.
