The Federation of Commercial Audiovisual Libraries is looking to recruit a managing director.
FOCAL International, a not-for-profit trade association for audiovisual archives, sees its current director of operations Mary Egan, step down this year. Her role will be replaced by the incoming managing director.
In an email from the Focal board, they said: “Mary’s organisation of workshops, meetings, events and parties, including the prestigious annual FOCAL International Awards, has continued to raise our profile, champion our cause and spotlight our presence in the archive industry. FOCAL is very sad to see her go and sends heartfelt thanks for all her hard work. We wish Mary all the best for the future.”
