The Bake Off format is to head to Roblox as BBC Studios and Love Productions launch Star Baker on the global gaming platform.
Players can step inside the iconic Bake Off tent in new immersive game based on the TV format. The experience was developed by creative agency and studio, Metavision, part of Zoo 55.
From whisking through Signature Bakes to facing the high-pressure Technical Challenge, players earn or lose points based on speed and precision. Creativity also counts as players can showcase their artistic flair in decorating rounds to win peer votes and ultimately compete for the coveted title of Star Baker. Engaging mini-games also add an innovative twist to the experience. Players can encounter a whimsical obstacle course jumping between ingredients and baking equipment or attempt a scavenger hunt to find the iconic ‘missing raspberry’ – the gameplay is full of fun and unexpected surprises.
The game has been localised so that players in five different territories can interact with their own version of the show environment: The Great British Bake Off (UK); The Great British Baking Show (US); Le Meilleur Pâtissier (France); Das große Backen (Germany); Bake Off Italia – Dolci in Forno (Italy).
