This year’s finalists for the Music+Sound Awards have been confirmed.

Now in its 14th year, the Music+Sound Awards celebrate the artistry of composers, sound designers, music supervisors and sync professionals in film, television, advertising and gaming.

This year’s shortlist includes Glenn Freemantle, Ben Barker and Gillian Dodders (Sound 24) who are recognised for their bold, hyper-real sound design in ‘Warfare’. Ben Baird (Aquarium Studios) is spotlighted for ‘Conclave’, layering sound textures and ambient detail to amplify the tension and secrecy at the heart of the drama.

Steve Bond and Carlos San Juan at Brain Audio, with original score by Thomas Haines, are celebrated for their integrated approach on Netflix’s ‘Wolf King’, blending innovative fantasy soundscapes and striking musical themes. And Alexander Temple and Alex Seaver, composers for ‘Arcane – League of Legends S2’ (Netflix), delivered a dynamic and deeply textured score that enhances the acclaimed series’ emotional arcs and rich world-building.

The winners will be unveiled on Thursday, October 9th at 4pm (GMT) and shared across the Awards’ official X and Instagram channels, on the Awards website, and via media partners shortly after.
