Adobe has now launched Firefly Boards with “new models and AI-powered exploration features.”

Firefly Boards is an AI-first space where users can explore, iterate, and collaborate in real time with the industry’s top models, including Adobe Firefly models alongside models from partners including Flux, Google, Luma AI, Moonvalley, Pika, and Runway.

Firefly Boards now adds two new video models – Runway Aleph and Moonvalley Marey and three new features that help users “move from inspiration to iteration much more quickly”: Presets, Generative Text Edit (beta) and Describe Image.

The three new features are:

  • Presets: Presets help you generate images in a variety of styles. Try Product and Character to visualize a product with a model, Virtual Try On for fashion ideas and Electric Party to transform portraits, all in a single click. Powered by Adobe Firefly and partner models from Black Forest Labs, Google, OpenAI, and more, Presets are a rich launchpad for exploration.

  • Generative Text Edit (beta): Swap or update text directly in visuals, matching the context, without having to leave Boards. Perfect for rapid iteration and on-the-fly adjustments that don’t interrupt your flow.

  • Describe Image: Have an image you like, but need to make some tweaks? With Describe Image, you can have Boards analyze an image and describe it in a ready-to-use (and edit) prompt. Describe Image makes it easy to build on inspiration without having to guess the right words.

With today’s launch, Runway Aleph and Moonvalley Marey generative video models are now available in Boards. These models join the lineup of AI models available in Boards – including Luma AI’s Ray3 and Ray2, Google’s Gemini 2.5 Flash Image (Nano Banana) and Veo 3, Pika 2.2, Flux.1 Kontext, and Runway Gen-4 –

Adobe is also changing the subscription offers in Firefly. The current plans will be renamed to “more clearly reflect credit capacity across Creative Cloud applications, while a new line of Firefly Standard, Pro, and Premium plans will include even greater value with Photoshop (web and mobile) and Adobe Express Premium.” As before, all Firefly plans include unlimited access to standard features, unlimited canvases and access to a library of partner models.  Creative Cloud Pro members enjoy the same access to premium generative AI as the Firefly plans.
