The Awards will take place on 13 November 2025 in Canary Wharf, honouring the “most innovative and creative” content across 13 categories.
This year’s shortlist ranges from high-end scripted drama to bold factual formats and digital innovation. Netflix’s Dept. Digital trailblazers such as History Hit (Little Dot Studios) and Mashed (Spud Gun Studios) showcase the ingenuity of creators harnessing new platforms to engage audiences in fresh and original ways. Meanwhile, Sky Sports Scenes (After Party Studios & Sky Sports) “brings a new dimension to sports coverage”, and Boyzone: No Matter What (Curious Films) captures the “enduring power of music documentaries to reach audiences across generations.”
The event will be hosted by Ria Lina – comedian, actress, and writer – known for her appearances on QI, Have I Got News for You, and Live at the Apollo.
Simon Cox, EVP Content & Acquisitions, Banijay Rights, said: “Banijay Entertainment is proud to support the inaugural Indielab Innovation Awards.
