Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray’s Maven Screen Media is to grow its London office with the senior hire of Anna Smith Tenser, previously of Steve McQueen’s Lammas Park.
Spearheaded by co-founders Trudie Styler and Celine Rattray, Maven Screen Media champions women in film with a slate of powerful female writers and directors including Scarlett Johansson, Gurinder Chadha, Katie Holmes in upcoming features. Styler leads Maven’s global creative strategy from bases in London and New York, whilst also directing and producing key pictures including the upcoming Rose’s Baby. Celine Rattray oversees the Maven’s slate across Europe and the US.
Anna Smith Tenser joins the team as Chief Content Officer to further develop a high-end television slate for Maven Screen Media alongside supporting Styler and Rattray with the growing the film slate globally.
At Lammas Park, Smith Tenser’s recent projects included McQueen’s BAFTA-nominated feature, Blitz (Working Title/New Regency for Apple TV+), BAFTA winning factual TV series UPRISING (BBC), and Eloise King’s The Shadow Scholars, which screened at over 20 festivals including IDFA and Tribeca, earning multiple jury awards.

Upcoming titles on Maven’s slate include Christmas Karma, written and directed by Gurinder Chadha; Happy Hours, a trilogy from Katie Holmes starring Holmes, Joshua Jackson, and Constance Wu; Roses Baby, directed by Trudie Styler and featuring Antonio Banderas and Forest Whitaker; and Eleanor the Great, Scarlett Johansson’s directorial debut, which premiered at TIFF ahead of its September 2025 release. Also debuting at TIFF is & Sons, helmed by Pablo Trapero, written by Oscar-winner Sarah Polley, and starring Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, and Dominic West.
