Studio Lambert is bolstering its unscripted creative leadership with Toni Ireland promoted to Deputy Creative Director and Stephen Lovelock hired as Executive Producer.

Ireland began her journey at Studio Lambert on The Circle, which she helped develop and executive produced for both Channel 4 and Netflix. She went on to executive produce the first and second seasons of the critically acclaimed The Traitors for the BBC and NBC’s Peacock. Most recently, she served as showrunner on Squid Game: The Challenge for Netflix, which won the BAFTA for Best Reality Series and drew over 250 million viewing hours in its first 28 days.

Her earlier career includes producing live entertainment formats Saturday Night Takeaway, I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp and Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, as well as unscripted formats Love Island and Celebs Go Dating.

“As our business continues to grow, the need for outstanding senior talent becomes ever more important,” said Tim Harcourt, Studio Lambert’s Chief Creative Officer. “Toni has consistently proven herself to be a brilliant editorial leader since joining us seven years ago. I’m thrilled she’s taking on this expanded role. Stephen is second to none at crafting clever and compelling formats and to have him join the team is a real boost to our creative firepower. I can’t wait to see the impact they’ll both have on our next wave of shows.”

Toni Ireland said: “I’ve been lucky enough to work on some of the most exciting and ambitious unscripted shows of recent years with an incredible team at Studio Lambert. To continue to work on these projects whilst leading the development of other formats which are bold and distinct is something I can’t wait to get started on.”

Lovelock has worked in format development, showrunning, and large-scale production management. Until recently an Executive Producer at Remarkable Entertainment, he has helped shape many of the UK’s most successful entertainment franchises. His credits include Survivor (UK), Richard Osman’s House of Games, The Wall, Big Brother, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, The Cube, Deal or No Deal, and The Million Pound Drop. Most recently, he led the delivery of a 120-episode series of Deal or No Deal and Soccer Aid 2025.

Stephen Lovelock said: “I’m genuinely excited to be joining Studio Lambert, a company I’ve always admired because of their extraordinary track record for delivering innovative, high-quality formats that travel the world. I can’t wait to join such a talented and respected team and help create the next generation of original unscripted hits with them.”
