Sandisk has launched the WD Blue SN5100 NVMe SSD, designed for creators and professionals looking to speed up demanding AI-enabled workflows and content creation projects.
The new PCIe Gen 4.0 drive features speeds nearly 30% faster than the prior generation on tasks including editing, rendering, and file transfers of high-resolution videos, images, and other large assets.
Accelerated AI and creative workflows – offers up to 7,100 MB/s read speeds (1TB–2TB models)3, thanks to BiCS8 QLC 3D NAND with CMOS Bonded to Array (CBA) technology.
Responsiveness – improves application responsiveness and quickly copying large files or project folders with SANDISK nCache™ 4.0 technology.
Increase laptop or PC storage – provides more room for the biggest projects with capacities including 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB4.
The SSD will be available from October.
