The Royal Television Society has published the full programme for its biennial Cambridge Convention, which is taking place on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th September at King’s College, Cambridge.
The Convention’s programme, titled Where Do We Grow From Here?, will see Sarina Wiegman, Manager of England Football’s Women’s Team, in conversation with Alison Lomax, Managing Director, UK & Ireland, YouTube, reflecting on leadership and the wider impact of the team’s success on society, while David Tennant contemplates his multi-faceted career and considers how to protect and nurture the UK’s unique creative culture in conversation with Charlotte Moore.
Additional new speakers joining the Convention’s line-up include The Rt Hon Lisa Nandy MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport; Jane Turton, CEO, All3Media; Marco Bassetti, CEO, Banijay Entertainment and Banijay Live; and comedian and presenter, Chris McCausland.
The RTS Cambridge Convention Chair Tim Davie will call for decisive action to secure future growth for our sector in a fast evolving landscape. Michael McIntyre will also be providing after-dinner entertainment on Wednesday 17th September.
