The RTS has named a new wave of industry speakers for its biennial RTS Cambridge Convention 2025.
The convention takes place on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th September at King’s College, Cambridge.
The BBC is the Principal Sponsor of this year’s Convention, with BBC Director-General Tim Davie CBE chairing the event.
New speakers joining the Convention’s programme include: Kamal Ahmed, Columnist and Senior Interviewer, The Telegraph; Brandon B, Content creator, CEO/Founder of production company StudioB; Matt Clifford, Chair and Cofounder of EF, and Chair of ARIA; Kian Katanforoosh, CEO and Founder, Workera; Jamie Laing, Co-founder of JamPot Productions and co-host of hit podcast, Nearly Parents; Simon Lewis and David Yelland, Co-Hosts of BBC Radio 4’s When It Hits The Fan Podcast; Anna Mallett, Vice President, Production, EMEA/UK at Netflix; Kevin Mayer, CEO, Candle Media; Amol Rajan, Journalist and Broadcaster; Joe Ravitch, Co-Founder and Partner, Raine and Cristina Nicoletti Squires, Group Director for Broadcasting and Media, Ofcom.
The 2025 Convention, titled Where Do We Grow From Here?, will focus on identifying the opportunities and pathways to growth for the television industry now and in the future, whilst addressing some of the common challenges facing the creative sector.
Previously announced speakers include: Jonathan Allan, interim CEO of Channel 4; Ed Balls and George Osborne, former government ministers and Co-Hosts of the hit podcast Political Currency; Mark Burnett, Hollywood Producer and now US Special Envoy to the UK; Sir Nick Clegg, Meta’s former President of Global Affairs and a former MP; John Landgraf, Chairman of FX; Dame Carolyn McCall, CEO, ITV; Sarah Rose, President, Channel 5 and UK Regional Lead, Paramount Global; Dana Strong CBE, CEO, Sky Group; Baroness Shriti Vadera, Chair of the Creative Industries Council; Anthony Wood, Founder and CEO of Roku and Jeff Zucker, CEO, Redbird IMI and former President of CNN Worldwide.
