Content Kings has hired Nicki Gottlieb as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Gottlieb spent over a decade running her own indie, Brown Bob and her credits include Inside the Ambulance, hit true crime shows like Fraud Squad and Moment of Proof, and the all-access show Secrets of the London Underground.

As COO, she will oversee operations and help shape Content Kings’ commercial and strategic direction, bringing her “expertise in high-stakes deal-making and innovative content.” She’ll work closely with the team to develop fresh programming for streamers, broadcasters, and digital platforms.

Content Kings has also merged the extensive Brown Bob catalogue with its own, creating a “significant and diverse library of content.”

“I’m genuinely thrilled to be part of Content Kings and to work with such a talented, collaborative team,” said Gottlieb. “There’s a real buzz here—everyone’s full of ideas and passion for what we do. With our worldwide reach, the possibilities are endless. I can’t wait to see where our ideas take us next!”

Gavin Hay, Content Kings Group CEO, commented: “Nicki’s appointment is a fantastic step forward for Content Kings. Her track record and vision align perfectly with our ambitions for growth and innovation. We’re delighted to welcome her on board.”

Content Kings has also announced the creation of its new format, Lip Reading The Royals, created by Jonathan Levi, which has already secured numerous international distribution deals—including in the UK. The Lip Reading brand is set to continue with upcoming editions featuring stars, sports personalities, and politicians.

Jonathan Levi, Content Kings TV CEO, commented: “It’s been a real joy developing Lip Reading The Royals and seeing it connect with audiences around the world. The format’s playful approach and universal appeal have opened the door for us to explore even more creative possibilities, and I’m excited to see how the brand continues to grow with each new edition.”

Content Kings is the indie behind the recent C5 series Cancellations series and the Steve Harvey project.
