Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland has commissioned a new discovery+ true-crime series, The Kim Kardashian Heist (w/t), alongside three new linear series Guz Khan’s Custom Cars (w/t), Zero Stars and Rav Gill’s Chop House.

Last month, 10 people stood trial in Paris, accused of being involved in the 2016 robbery of one of the world’s most famous reality stars, Kim Kardashian. The 3×60 series The Kim Kardashian Heist (w/t), produced by Wall to Wall Media, and coming to discovery+ in September, will delve into the chain of events surrounding the robbery, which saw $6 million worth of jewellery stolen during Kardashian’s stay at the exclusive ‘No Address Hotel’ for Paris Fashion Week. With access to the accused, their defence, the police investigators and exclusive access to the concierge, Mr Ouatiki, who was held at gunpoint with Kim Kardashian that night, the documentary series follows the French trial and unravels the layers of the crime.

On linear, Quest will launch early next year with Guz Khan’s Custom Cars (w/t). Produced by Ricochet, this 8×60 series will see TV funny man and car enthusiast Guz Khan attempt to modify his own car. To help inspire him, Khan will embark on a journey to discover cars as unconventional as their owners. He will test drive their creations, providing laugh-out-loud moments whilst also learning more about what modifications can do for cars, as he makes his own journey from ‘car purist’ to ‘car modder’.

Zero Stars will see comedians and BFFs Roisin Conaty and Sara Pascoe journey across the globe – staying, eating and experiencing places with only the funniest and worst reviews in search of a truly unique experience they wouldn’t get from a five-star beach resort. This 8×60 series is produced by CPL Productions (original format by Liquidminds and distributed by Primitives).

Rav Gill’s Chop House is a 10×30 series for Food Network that sees pastry chef and presenter Ravneet Gill and her husband Mattie opening their first restaurant, self-funded and built from scratch. Produced by Yeti Television and airing in late 2025, the series follows the couple as they juggle renovations, recipe testing, menu writing, and team building.

The series were ordered by Graham Lafferty and commissioned by Charlotte Reid for Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland.

Returning series include James May in his Wiltshire workshop to help fix Britain’s bugbears with simple solutions and ingenious engineering in James May’s Shed Load of Ideas (w/t), coming to Quest in October. In each episode of this 8×60 series produced by Plum Pictures, James will tackle four problems, from everyday annoyances, to life hacks and repairs.

Also returning to Quest is Prospero-produced 20×60 series Outback Opal Hunters, back for its ninth season. Opal-rich earth is disappearing at record rates. Crippling government sanctions and a new wave of fortune hunters lay waste to the opal fields. Coveted claims are being fiercely guarded by embattled miners or sold at exorbitant prices. To thrive and expand, the Outback Opal Hunters need to expand their operations. The series will be on screen in 2026.

discovery+ will also see the return of Vinnie Jones in the Country, as the hit series returns next year for a third 6×60 season, produced by Objective Entertainment, part of Objective Media Group (an All3Media company). With planning finally approved for his Lakehouse renovation and a brand-new build, a grand ‘Manor House.’

Celebrity Help! My House is Haunted, is also back on discovery+ for its fifth series in November. The 6×60 series, produced by Back2back Productions, features haunted celebrities Nancy Dell’Olio, Gary Numan, Suzanne Shaw, Beverly Callard, Simon Weston, and Antony Cotton. Paranormal experts include psychic medium Ian Lawman, tech expert Barri Ghai and investigator Jayne Harris. Katrina Weidman, an American paranormal investigator, joins the team.

On the Discovery Channel, Mike Brewer and Marc ‘Elvis’ Priestley are also back with Wheeler Dealers World Tour, with series 2 airing in October. In this 10×60 show produced by All3Media’s North One and Objective Entertainment (part of Objective Media Group), the pair will travel from  Latin America to Eastern Europe.

Graham Lafferty, SVP Content Strategy and Networks, WBD UK & Ireland, said: “With all eyes on one of the most intriguing true crime stories in recent years, we’re pleased to work with Wall to Wall on The Kim Kardashian Heist.

“Within this 70+hours bumper slate, we’re also pleased to announce a collection of new linear commissions featuring a strong line-up of British TV personalities.”
