Netflix series The Crown and the BBC’s The Night Manager were the big British winners at last night’s Golden Globe Awards.

Left Bank’s The Crown was awarded Best Television Series – Drama after being nominated alongside shows including Game of Thrones, Stranger Things and Westworld.

Claire Foy, who plays Queen Elizabeth II in the series was also given the Best Performance By An Actress In A Television Series award.

The Ink Factory’s The Night Manager picked up three acting awards with Tom Hiddleston winning the Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television award and Olivia Colman and Hugh Laurie winning the supporting actress and actor awards respectively.
