ITV has commissioned The Keith and Paddy Picture Show, from Talkback, part of FremantleMediaUK.
Starring both Keith Lemon (Celebrity Juice, Sketch Show) and Paddy McGuinness (Take Me Out) the 5×30’ series will air on ITV primetime from spring, 2017.
The Keith and Paddy Picture Show is billed as an affectionate and humorous tribute to some of Keith and Paddy’s favourite movies of all time. Each week they will attempt to recreate an iconic film, with the help of a celebrity cast.
Each half hour episode will be a mix of high-end film parodies and behind-the-scenes mock-doc footage following the pair as they endeavour to bring their recreations to life.
Leon Wilson, executive producer and Managing Director of Talkback said: "Recreating well-known, iconic movies, this part scripted comedy; part moc-doc will have something in it for everyone and is a chance for Keith and Paddy to share their love of film with the Saturday night ITV audience.”
The Keith and Paddy Picture Show is a Talkback production, commissioned for ITV by Commissioning Editor, Comedy and Entertainment, Saskia Schuster. Executive produced by Leon Wilson, Managing Director of Talkback and written, produced and directed by Dan Johnston and Jamie Deeks.
