Cotton began his career working on the production of big live music awards. He then spent many years as a freelance producer and director, working on shows such as Wife Swap, Shipwrecked, The Apprentice and The Only Way is Essex.

Tim Harcourt said: “I’m delighted Mike has agreed to take on extra responsibility and become more involved in the ideas creation and selling side of the business. He is a very talented creative executive who can apply his skills to a wide range of shows.”

Mike Cotton said: “I can’t wait to get stuck in to developing new series as well as continuing to oversee productions. It’s an exciting and busy time at Studio Lambert, and I look forward to helping the company grow further.”
