Studio Lambert is opening an office in the Scottish Highlands, based at Inverness.

The company which already has offices in London, Manchester and Los Angeles plans to develop projects which will be filmed in the scenery of the Highlands.

The new Scottish office follows the success of Studio Lambert’s first out-of-London UK office in Manchester, which launched in November 2018.  Studio Lambert North, which is run by Darrell Olsen, has seen the production of multi-seasons of Four in a Bed, Naked Attraction and The Circle over the last three years.

Studio Lambert has already produced a major production in Scotland, The Nest for BBC One which starred Martin Compston, Sophie Rundle and Mirren Mack. The five-episode drama series, written by Nicole Taylor, was one of the most popular new BBC drama series last year attracting a consolidated audience of more than nine million viewers.

“The success of our regional office in Manchester has helped us focus on the benefit of out-of-London production, and opening an office in Scotland gives us a base in the Nations,” says Studio Lambert CEO, Stephen Lambert. “We are working on some big projects which will be shot in the most beautiful parts of Scotland and hope to announce our first commission and our first Scottish team members soon.”
