Sohonet and Avid have announced a strategic partnership focused on developing future integrations of Sohonet’s collaboration tools within Avid’s Media Composer and Edit-On-Demand solutions.
This partnership marks the beginning of efforts to enhance editorial workflows by integrating Sohonet’s collaboration tools into Avid’s production environment. Both companies are committed to developing multiple integration points that will allow Avid users to use Sohonet’s capabilities seamlessly within their existing workflows with the initial emphasis on a Sohonet ClearView Flex panel in Media Composer.
These planned integrations are aimed at facilitating collaboration with remote teams, ensuring secure content sharing, and streamlining the overall production process, all within the familiar Avid Media Composer environment.
