Silver Screen is calling for entries for its analog film fund.

The fund is open to filmmakers looking to shoot their next short on celluloid.

Silver Screen and Kodak, along with Cinelab Film & Digital, Arri Rental and Company 3 have teamed up to support short film creatives.

With the backing of the four companies, Silver Screen has created the analog film fund, to dramatically reduce the costs involved when shooting on film. The package, which can be won by up to three filmmaking teams a year, comprises of: 5 days Arri Rental camera and lens hire package (inc. a 1 day test shoot); 1600 ft (4 cans) 16mm Kodak film stock; 1600ft of free processing at Cinelab Film & Digital and 6hrs of grading by a colourist at COMPANY 3

So far the fund has supported two short films, which are now in post-production, with a third being shot later this year. A

nyone is welcome to submit a script and treatment, via FilmFreeway, for consideration.
