Ross Kemp is now heading into the sixth season of documentary series Extreme World for Sky, made by his indie Freshwater Films. The documentary maker will be sharing his experience on the front-line of film-making with delegates at the Televisual Factual Festival, at London’s BAFTA on Wednesday 9th November.

The new run of Extreme World films will tackle topics such as migrant smuggling, the deadly consequences of the war on drugs and the rise of violent extremism. With Kemp’s brand of hard-hitting investigative journalism there are tough fights for access and critical planning for filming in harsh conditions.

Next Wednesday afternoon, Ross Kemp, together with producer Jamie Welham, will give a masterclass, revealing the production stories behind some of his toughest moments while filming in the field. Chaired by Sky Entertainment head of non scripted commissioning Celia Taylor, Kemp will reveal the stories behind some of the most dangerous and demanding shoots, both in the UK and in some of the world’s most difficult locations.
