Netflix has announced further cast for the adaptation of Richard Osman’s hit novel, The Thursday Murder Club.

Joining are Richard E. Grant (Withnail & I, Can You Ever Forgive Me?), Tom Ellis (Lucifer, Players), Geoff Bell (Kingsman: The Secret Service and Top Boy), Paul Freeman (Tokyo Trial, Raiders of the Lost Ark), Sarah Niles (Ted Lasso, F1) and Ingrid Oliver (Last Christmas, Doctor Who) who join the cast of The Thursday Murder Club alongside Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Sir Ben Kingsley, Celia Imrie, David Tennant, Jonathan Pryce, Naomi Ackie, Daniel Mays and Henry Lloyd-Hughes.

The series is produced by Amblin Entertainment and written by Chris Columbus.

The story follows a group of friends in a retirement home who gather to solve murders for fun, but find themselves caught in a real case. The four members of the club are played by Helen Mirren (ex-spy Elizabeth), Sir Ben Kingsley (ex-psychiatrist Ibrahim) Pierce Brosnan (former union activist Ron) and Celia Imrie (ex-nurse Joyce).

The Producers are Jennifer Todd and Chris Columbus and the Executive Producers are Holly Bario, Jeb Brody,  Eleanor Columbus and Jo Burn.
