All3Media International has partnered with Prime Video in the UK and Ireland on new true crime title package from BAFTA-winning producer Story Films, which will debut on Prime Video UK this year.
All3Media International is on board as global partner and will handle international distribution rights throughout the rest of the world.
Produced by Story Films, the five true crime titles will each shine a light on a true crime story, through blending exclusive interviews, compelling evidence, archive footage, and new revelations. The Honeymoon Murder: Who Killed Anni Dewani? explores the death of Anni Dewani, the bride who didn’t survive her honeymoon, and A Killer’s Confession reveals how detectives were forced into an evil game of cat and mouse with killer Christopher Halliwell.
Also featuring in the collaboration are Hunting The Yorkshire Ripper which uncovers how police tracked down a hoaxer who allowed a serial killer to continue his murderous spree, and The London Railway Murders, which delves into the story of two childhood friends who became killers and the fierce group of women who brought them to justice. Finally, #FindBecky (w/t) unravels the murder of Becky Watts, a case that takes toxic family dynamics to its most extreme.
Winner of multiple awards, including the ‘Factual Series’ award for To Catch a Copper at the recent 2025 BAFTA TV Awards, producer Story Films is part of All3Media and was founded by BAFTA-winning filmmakers David Nath and Peter Beard.
Adam Hopkins (pictured), Head of Factual at Story Films, added, “These cases all captured national and international attention, now we’re honoured to be able to tell the full stories, filming with the families and friends who were left devastated by these shocking crimes, as well as the investigative and legal teams who set out in pursuit of justice. We have a brilliant team producing these documentaries, expertly crafting programmes that follow the compelling twists and turns in the quest for truth, and we’re excited that our fantastic global partners at All3Media International will be launching the titles around the world.”
Rachel Job, SVP Unscripted at All3Media International, commented, “We’re delighted to partner with the brilliant team at Prime Video UK to bring this compelling true crime documentary package to screens. Story Films are renowned for delivering powerful and captivating storytelling that resonates with global audiences, and this new slate is no exception. With exclusive access to those closest to the cases, rich archival material, and revelatory new evidence, each documentary will delve deep into crimes where nothing is as it seems — skilfully unravelling twist-filled stories designed to captivate both UK and international viewers.”
Offering a revelatory take on what has become one of the most enduring crime stories of recent times, The Honeymoon Murder: Who Killed Anni Dewani? explores the case of Anni Dewani, the bride who didn’t survive her honeymoon, and Shrien Dewani, the groom stranded abroad while the police and global media began questioning his involvement. Combining exclusive interviews with Anni’s family and Shrien’s defence counsel, mixed with archive including CCTV, police interviews and court proceedings, The Honeymoon Murder: Who Killed Anni Dewani? will take viewers on a journey of untruths and shifting blame, adding new information and perspectives as the story unfolds.
A Killer’s Confession explores a killer’s evil game of cat and mouse with detectives and a mother’s relentless quest for justice. In 2011, Christopher Halliwell confessed to killing two women, even taking police to their burial sites. But Halliwell was not under caution when he made these admissions, and during police interviews, he refused to acknowledge what he’d freely admitted earlier. With exclusive contributions from those closest to the case, A Killer’s Confession meets the investigative team who faced an extraordinary dilemma as they navigated the mind of a monster, with new in-depth interviews with Karen Edwards – the mother who would not accept that the man who once admitted killing her daughter could get away with murder.
In the late 1970s, infamous serial killer the Yorkshire Ripper seemed to be taunting the police with handwritten letters and creepy tape recordings. But in fact, Peter Sutcliffe was operating in the shadows – and the police had been taken in by a very costly hoax. Hunting The Yorkshire Ripper introduces viewers to former Detective Chief Superintendent Chris Gregg, at the time a rookie detective working on the Ripper manhunt. Unable to get the hoaxer’s voice out of his head, after rising up through the ranks, Gregg set out to get closure, putting together a cold case team to track down the man who – by diverting police away from the real perpetrator – allowed Sutcliffe to continue killing, leading to an interrogation room showdown decades in the making.
A dynamic, female-led documentary, The London Railway Murders tells the story of two childhood friends who grew into killers and the fierce group of women – police and victims – whose determination and resilience finally caged a monster. In 1998, ten years after a murderer and rapist dubbed the ‘Railway Killer’ was sent to prison, a spate of eerily similar attacks led police to question whether they had a copycat on their hands – or if the real attacker was still at large. But an astonishing confession would reveal the truth – that the Railway Killer had an accomplice… Combining new and dramatic first-person testimony with emotionally powerful archive, The London Railway Murders is ultimately a story of comeuppance, told by the women who would stop at nothing to see justice served.
Unravelling a real-life psychological thriller #FindBecky (w/t) explores the murder of 16-year-old Becky Watts. When Becky vanished from her home, the huge search for her became national news. But as the investigation closed in, the mask of the ‘perfect family life’ began to slip, revealing a dark obsession and a killer hiding in plain sight. Combining the intimacy of the teenage relationships at the heart of the story, told first hand by Becky’s friends, with the experience of police case officers who worked on the case, #FindBecky (w/t) reveals what happens when the killers aren’t strangers, but people shockingly close to home.
