Pineapple VFX Founder and Creative Director Kia Coates said; ‘’Mark’s leadership and experience as an award winning CG Supervisor not only strengthens, but compliments our existing team of incredible 2D artists. Behind the scenes, we have been developing our AI workflows to merge traditional VFX with next-generation innovation, expanding our capabilities beyond the traditional norms. We are now actively inviting other visionary creatives, directors and brands, to challenge us and push our combined talent on a global scale.’’
‘’I’ve been hoping to work with Kia and the Pineapple VFX team since the company’s inception, and am really glad our schedules have finally aligned. I’ve worked in almost every department over the years on feature films and longform, in both VFX and feature animation. I bring a broad range of technical experience, and will continue to help lead, create and build modern artist-friendly workflows. I’m looking forward to collaborating with the team and pushing the boundaries of what we can achieve together.’’
Pineapple VFX Executive Producer Josh Sanders added; ‘’Mark’s deep technical knowledge and eye for detail make him an invaluable addition to our team. As a group of artists, innovators and producers, we are motivated more than ever to build on the successes so far. Being able to offer a multi-discipline service that spans Offline Editing, On-set Supervision, 2D, CG, AI and Online allows us creative ownership and a single point of contact for our clients. As AI becomes more prevalent in all of our lives, we feel it’s our responsibility as industry experts to harness its capabilities and find smarter ways to integrate it back into our existing workflows, driving value and efficiency.’’
