‘Virtual’ production facility Ewanme is to extend its service to include colour grading.
Ewanme has bought DaVinci Resolve consoles with associated software and broadcast monitors. These will run alongside the company’s mobile ‘suites’ manned by freelance editing and vfx teams.
A team of freelance colourists will now be available to hire along with a flight case with the grading technology on a day rate.
Md Ewan MacLeod said: “I am fully aware that the environment in which we grade will not be perfect for all projects. But it’s a creative and cost effective approach to grading that provides a perfect solution to the challenges agencies and brands face to produce volume content of the highest standard creatively and cost effectively.”
