ITV has confirmed that during 2020 there will be two series of Love Island on ITV2.
Produced by ITV Studios Entertainment and Motion Content Group, the first series of the year will use a new location in South Africa. The summer series will then return to Europe.
Love Island is the most watched programme of the year for adults aged 16-34, across any channel. Now in its fifth series, the show reached six million viewers for the first time, in terms of four-screen consolidated viewing, with 2 billion impressions on Twitter so far this series. The Love Island account has over 3 million instagram followers.
