No.8, the Soho-based creative audio and VFX studio, has appointed Liz Browne as head of production operations.

At the same time, James Benn is joining as senior sound designer.Ellie Thwaites is joining as VFX producer.

Browne joins No.8 from The Mill where she brings over 25 years of industry experience, working her way up from scheduler to head of production operations.

She has produced campaigns for Guinness Bet on Black, aka Snails, Levis Twist, Mercedes Movement and Sony Playstation Mountain which won a D&AD yellow pencil VFX and the Grand Prix at Cannes. Plus Guy Ritchie’s  spot for Nike, The Next Level, and Barclaycard Waterslide.

Benn joins from Bark Soho where he brings over six years of experience, working with directors such as Jake Scott, Luke Scott, Nicolai Fuglsig, Adam Berg, Simon Rattagan, on campaigns for Coca-Cola, Ford, Churchill, Sky, SKII, London North-eastern Railway, Kelloggs.

Benn has also worked as supervising sound editor/designer on documentaries Kipchoge: The Last Milestone, Savage Waters & Big Boys Don’t Cry

Thwaites also joins from The Mill where she worked across a variety of projects for Siemens, IBM, Estee Lauder, Edeka & Pepsi and many more.
