Argonon companies Like A Shot Entertainment and BriteSpark Films are producing new always-on true crime podcast, True Crime: Dissected, revisiting some of the world’s most shocking crimes. The series launches on June 4 across all podcast platforms.

The series is hosted by journalist Paul Connolly and forensic psychiatrist Dr. Sohom Das, who draw on their expertise to shed light on some of the most talked about police cases, pooling Connolly’s investigative instincts with Dr. Das’ deep-rooted understanding of human psychology.

Each episode moves beyond the facts to ask why these crimes occurred, explore the broader societal context behind them and look into the far-reaching impacts. The hosts lean into their expertise and knowledge to ask what doesn’t sit right about the cases.

The series kicks off with Hate Crimes: Golders Green and Charleston, exploring two horrific racist attacks, 11 years apart and in different countries, but with overlapping themes.

Henry Scott, MD of Like A Shot, said: “This brand-new podcast blends the psychological expertise of Dr. Soham Das and the investigative insights of Paul Connolly, taking a new approach to explore the world’s most terrible crimes.”
