Motherland, There She Goes and Bad Sisters indie, Merman Television, has announced that Jeremy Rainbird is stepping down from the boards of the Merman group of companies.

As Global Managing Partner and Chairman of the board of Merman Television, Rainbird has worked alongside co-founders Sharon Horgan and Clelia Mountford, since the company’s launch.

Merman said: “As he moves on to pursue other interests, Merman wishes Jeremy every success in his new ventures and thanks him for his invaluable contribution towards the growth of the group over the years.”

Jeremy Rainbird said: “It has been an honour to serve Merman and work alongside such a remarkable group of talented folk. I leave a close knit team behind, as I embark upon the next chapter of my production life, which I am excited to announce this summer in the Digital Broadcast space. Good luck Merman. Very proud and humbled to have been part of their success.”
