Halo has opened its new state-of-the-art audio suite at its Noel Street location.
The newly completed studio is designed to provide clients with additional Dolby Atmos HE and 7.1 theatrical mixing facilities. Central to its capabilities are custom Dynaudio and JBL speakers and a 24-fader Avid S6 mixing console.
The studio will be used primarily for both scripted and non-scripted content but also has the ability to deliver theatrical mixes up to 7.1
Halo’s Head of Audio Sam Castleton said: “The new Studio 3 build is a direct response to the diversity of projects completed at halo and the increasing flexibility required by our clients. Armed with Dynaudio Munro C3As, Dynaudio Cores and additional JBL arrays, we can now mix for theatrical release and HE Dolby Atmos in the same space with full confidence. Audio over IP means we can pivot to different project requirements at the click of a button. Crucially, this enables us to instantly adapt to ever-changing client demands and schedules”
Halo has recently completed full post on the number one Netflix series, ‘Fred & Rose West: A British Horror Story’, and sound post for Mark Gatiss drama, ‘Bookish’.
